The First week in Indy

Hello Blog World, it's been so long since I've posted on here. A lot has happened to keep Andy and I busy lately; shopping, shows, work (for him,) and decorating the apartment. So since, I have a lot of days to catch up on, I am going to summarize.

(The view from our balcony)

Monday (9/16):
Andy and I continued to shop for little things to put into our apartment...
Later in the evening I had my audition for the Civic Theater's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat. I felt pretty wonderful about the audition; which was pretty exciting. As a result of the audition we both got free tickets to come see any of the main shows at the civic this year.

Tuesday (9/17):
We woke up really early to go drop off the rental truck (from the move) and pick up the rental car so we could drive back to Michigan and clean the old apartment/tie up all those loose ends, however; there was some mix up and they didn't have a car for us and then there were card issues so we decided to wait and go back another day.

Wednesday (9/18):
We shopped some more, there was supposed to be a callback for Joseph, but we're not sure if that happened or what. lol. Later in the evening made a special cooling container for our sparkling Peach drink

Thursday (9/19):
More shopping, and then we went to go see Pippin at the Civic as a night out. It was a really well put together show. The special effects and dancing were pretty amazing. But I have to say, I feel like the guy who played the brother; Lewis, stole the show for me.

Friday (9/20):
We woke up early again and tried to get a rental car again, and this time we succeeded! We drove to Michigan, cleaned Andy's old apartment and drove back the 4hrs. One our way home though, we stopped at a place that had loads of different kinds of beef jerky so we bought some....A lot...maybe?

Saturday (9/21):
We shopped more (like everyday this week...) And relaxed at the apartment. In the evening we decided to go see the Indy's Wind Symphony Orchestra at the Palladium.

Sunday (9/22):
Andy and I woke up and went to St. Luke's for church, the service was really nice. We watched as they handed out Bible's to the kids in third grade. The place as a whole seemed very welcoming so Andy and I may go back. We're just trying to find the right church for us at the moment.

Monday-Friday (9/23-9/27):
To summarize past week, We groccery shopped, apartment shopped, I got a part in Joseph (one of the brothers, not sure which yet...lol,) We bought a Betta (his name is Billy), I finally got Andy into Once Upon A Time and now he is hooked (muhaha,) We got a clock, made Beef Broth, bought some board and card games, some canvas paintings to put on the wall by the kitchen, got a gallon of Raw Honey, Andy got me flowers, and I cleaned the apartment/did dishes/did laundry. Over all, it has been a full, busy, week.

Saturday (9/28):
Today we woke up early for Andy's 10K race/Tug-of-war/Frisbee toss/Relay race/and Obstacle course. Which he was doing with his fellow employee's in downtown Indianapolis.  It started off freezing (as usual 6am weather is,) and ended up being pretty hot. But it was a really enjoyable time getting to meet all of his friends from the Auto Research Center. :)

Sunday (9/29):
Today, so far it is freezing and rainy outside so we are stuck inside for the day...Playing video games and reading, maybe watching some Once Upon A Time?
